The work speaks. Here it is.

A look at recent Ragsdale Roofing and Innovations projects across the Lowcountry and coastal Georgia — replacements, repairs, commercial systems, and gutters, all built by our own in-house crews.

Anybody can promise a good roof. We’d rather show you what one looks like. The projects below span the full range of what we do — from a single storm repair in Okatie to a complete commercial retrofit near Savannah — and every one of them was estimated, built, and cleaned up by Ragsdale employees. No subcontractors appear in this gallery because no subcontractors appear on our job sites.

Use the filters to browse by project type. If you spot a roof that looks like the one you’re considering — a shingle replacement, a standing-seam metal upgrade, a commercial flat-roof rescue, or new seamless gutters — call (843) 489-8966 and we’ll talk through what a similar project would involve at your address.

You’ll notice the geography, too. These projects stretch from Beaufort down through Bluffton and Hilton Head Island and across the Savannah River into Georgia — the same territory we’ve covered since 2014. Materials vary just as widely: architectural shingles where value and wind rating matter most, metal where salt air and longevity call for it, tile where the architecture asks, and TPO membrane on the flat commercial roofs that dot our retail corridors. What never varies is who does the work.

These are real Ragsdale roofs on real Lowcountry homes — and there are plenty more where they came from. Want to see work in your neighborhood, or photos of a specific roof type before you decide? Call (843) 489-8966 and we’ll gladly share recent projects near you.

Behind Every Photo

What you don’t see in the pictures matters most

A finished roof photographs the same whether it was built carefully or carelessly — for the first year or two, anyway. The difference shows up later: in year five, when a rushed flashing detail starts weeping into a soffit, or in the first named storm, when a fastening pattern that skipped the coastal schedule lets the wind get a fingernail under the field. That’s why we’d rather tell you what happens before and after each of these images than just show you the pretty part. Every Ragsdale Roofing and Innovations project, big or small, runs the same four-stage playbook.

Preparation. Every project starts with a documented inspection and a written scope. On replacements, that means checking decking from the attic, measuring ventilation, and flagging surprises before the tear-off — not billing for them afterward. Materials are ordered to spec and staged so the crew never improvises with whatever the supply house had on the shelf that morning.

Protection. Before the first shingle moves, we tarp landscaping, shield pools and AC units, and stage materials so your driveway survives the week. Lowcountry gardens take years to grow; we treat them that way.

Cleanup. Our crews run magnetic sweeps for nails across lawns and drives — multiple passes, not one lap — and haul every scrap of debris off site. The only evidence we leave is the roof.

Final inspection. A crew lead walks the finished roof line by line, photographs the completed work, and reviews it with you before we call the job done. That’s the standard whether it’s a small repair or a full commercial installation.

It’s the same discipline whether the address is a marsh-front home in Okatie or a warehouse outside Savannah, and it’s the reason the projects above still look right years after the crew packed up. If you want the small stuff handled with the same care as the big stuff, our maintenance plans bring that inspection habit back to your roof on a schedule — and catch the little failures before they earn a spot in anyone’s before-and-after photos.

One honest note about this page: the images above are illustrations representing recent project types, not photographs. For actual job-site photos and works in progress, follow us on Instagram and Facebook, where we post real roofs as they happen — or read what the owners of these roofs say about working with us.
